Everyone is invited to join our RCIA Candidates and Catechumens for a "teaching Mass" on Sunday, January 31, at 5 p.m. This will be the actual Mass for that Sunday, the Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time, albeit in a teaching style. What you don't know about the Mass might be the one thing that's keeping you from being blessed by its grace and riches. This Mass will also be livestreamed on our website. Come and grow in your appreciation of the Mass!
Our first planning meeting for this year's Czech Sausage Dinner will be on Monday, January 25, at 7 p.m. in the parish hall. Any parishioners who are interested in helping plan the event are welcome to join.
The annual Respect Life Mass and Walk is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, Amarillo. We are excited to announce that St. Ann's will be forming small groups during the season of Lent this year. The purpose of our groups will be prayer, fellowship, learning more abut our Catholic faith, and becoming more active followers of Jesus. If you are interested in either hosting or facilitating a small group, please contact Angela Asbill at aasbill@stannsofcanyon.org. Note: There will be an upcoming day retreat on Saturday, January 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bishop DeFalco Retreat Center (2100 North Spring Amarillo, TX 79107) to help train and equip all leaders of these groups.

Since we don't have holy water available in our usual containers, we invite you to bring water in your own container to be blessed on the Solemnity of the Baptism of the Lord on January 9 & 10. It is that weekend when the main season of Christmas draws to a close.
Please pick up offering envelopes after Mass next weekend from the parish hall. Find the envelope with your name on it and take it for use throughout the year ahead. If there is not an envelope box with your name on it, please contact Stefani in the parish office to receive a box.
The St. Therese Circle will coordinate our parish's annual Angel Tree project to provide children in need with Christmas gifts. Wrapped gifts should be brought to the church no later than Sunday, December 13. Please make sure all of your gifts are placed in two wrapped boxes with the angel attached. This ensures that all children will be able to ope two boxes when they receive their gifts. Thank you for your generosity in helping to provide a merry Christmas to children from our community!
Due to the inclement weather, the following activities have been cancelled: RCIA, Safe Environment Make-Up Training for High School, Teaching Mass (will be rescheduled), and Youth Night. Thanksgiving Day Mass will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday, November 26, in the church. Parishioners are encouraged to bring a food item (bread, bottle of wine, pie...) to be blessed that they will then share with their families.
We are currently forming our Christmas music program for a COVID-friendly Christmas! We are in need of voices and a trumpet. If you are interested in volunteering any musical talent you may have, please call Cindy Good at the parish office (655-3302).
Sts. Anne and Joachim Circle will once again be providing Thanksgiving food baskets to anyone in need. If you are in need of one or know of someone who is, please contact the parish office by Wednesday, November 4.
