All students in grades 5-12 are invited to join us for our weekly youth gathering on Wednesday night. We will begin with Mass in the church at 6 p.m., followed by pancakes and sausage provided by the Knights of Columbus. After our meal, intermediate and junior high students will have a session on the Bible, while high school students will focus on this Sunday's feast of Christ the King. See you there!
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will not be offered this afternoon. Fr. Busch is at a school event at WT and will not be at St. Ann's until shortly before the 5 p.m. Mass.
If you are planning to have your child baptized in the next few months, or if you have been asked to serve as a godparent, please consider attending our next Baptism Preparation Class on Tuesday, November 13, at 7 p.m. in Meeting Room C.
Workbooks for the new liturgical year are available for all of our lectors. Please pick up the one with your name on it in the parish office during office hours or after Mass.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this year's Fallback Festival a big success! Special thanks to Becky Lopez for once again chairing this year's event ... and to all who served as committee chairs and co-chairs! Your hard work and dedication is much appreciated! Preliminary calculations indicate that our parish made of profit of more than $15,000 for this year's event.
All new parishioners (anyone who has joined our parish community in 2018) will be honored at a New Parishioner Reception on Sunday, November 18. The reception will take place at 9:45 a.m. in the parish hall. If you are a new parishioner and will be present at the reception, please contact the parish office. All other parishioners are asked to join us in greeting and welcoming our new parishioners to St. Ann's!
Potluck Luncheon and Bingo for parishioners 60+ will be on Friday, November 9 at 1 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Please bring a meatless main dish to share.
Thanks to everyone who helped to change all of the lights in the church last weekend. All of the lights are now long-lasting, low-energy LED lights that will both decrease the frequency with which they need to be changed and decrease our electric bill! This was a big project, so many thanks to all of the volunteers who coordinated and assisted with this effort!
There will be no Faith Formation classes or RCIA next Sunday (November 25) because of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Classes will resume on Sunday, December 2.
The Ladies' of St. Ann's will once again be hosting their annual Holiday Gifts and Goodies Bazaar on Saturday, November 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Paul Blake Construction Building on the north side of the square. Please make plans to attend this event, in conjunction with the Canyon Merchants Association Holiday Open House.
