We will gather for Mass in the church this Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. After Mass, we will watch the movie "Millions" (see the description below) while we enjoy nachos with Rotel sausage queso, popcorn, and drinks. What would you do if a bag of money suddenly dropped "out of the sky" into your hands? That's the dilemma faced by two brothers in the film "Millions." One brother wants to spend the money, while the other brother (who regularly has visions of and conversations with saints) wants to use the money to help others. Join us for an evening of good food and good cinema! See you there! On Thursday evening, high school youth will prepare the meatballs for our spaghetti dinner, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the kitchen.
On Saturday, June 3, Bishop Zurek will ordain Grant Spinhirne to the priesthood and Shane Wieck to the transitional diaconate. The Ordination Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. All Catholics are invited and encouraged to attend - especially if you have never been to an ordination before!
Please make plans to join us on Friday June 2, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the parish hall for a delicious spaghetti dinner made by our youth, a fun evening of fellowship, and an opportunity to help support our high school students as they raise money for their trip to the Steubenville Conference in Springfield, Missouri, in July. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. There will be spaghetti and meatballs, and a meatless sauce as well. Take out meals will be be available, too. There will also be a silent auction with items created by the youth. Tickets are available for purchase after all Masses this weekend and next weekend ... or you can purchase tickets at the door. This is our last fundraiser for the Steubenville conference, so please help support our youth!

If you checked out a "Bag of Hope" after Mass this weekend, please fill it with any or all of the items grocery list provided and return the bag to the church by next Sunday (May 21). Last year, more than 140 bags were filled by our parishioners! Let's see if we can top that this year!
