This Friday, January 1, is the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, a holy day of obligation for all Catholics. A vigil Mass will be celebrated on New Year's Eve at 7 p.m. in the church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 1.
Join us on Wednesday afternoon (December 23) at 4 p.m. as we adorn the church for our Christmas liturgies. There will be plenty of decorating to do, including the preparation of luminarias, which will light the way for the Christ child. Hot apple cider and cookies will be served. Child care will be provided for younger children.
A workshop for all current and prospective Altar Servers will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12 at St. Ann's. Lunch will be provided.
St. Ann's will have two Masses on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24). The 5 p.m. Mass will be a Family Holy Eucharist with the Children's Choir. The 8 p.m. Mass will be a Solemn Holy Eucharist with the Adult Choir. Mass on Christmas Day (Dec. 25) will be at 10 a.m.
Bishop Zurek has assigned Cristian Zuluaga, a prospective seminarian for our diocese from Colombia, to live at St. Ann’s for the next several months while he studies English. Please extend a warm welcome to him when you see him at Mass or around the parish!
