Faith Formation 2022-2023
St. Ann's Faith Formation program for the 2023 school year will resume on September 11. There will be a Meet the Catechists! day on August 28 from 10:15 - 11:00 a.m. Faith Formation classes follow the Canyon ISD calendar and meet on Sundays from 10:15 - 11:15 a.m.

Sacramental Preparation (First Communion and Confirmation)First Communion is celebrated in 2nd grade at St. Ann's. The requirements for chldren to receive their First Communion are as follows:
- Previous enrollment in 1st grade Faith Formation classes with at least 75% attendance (or proof of enrollment/attendance if coming from another parish.)
- 75% attendance or better in 2nd grade Faith Formation classes.
- Attend the First Reconcilitation and First Eucharist Workshops
- Participation in Together in Jesus at-home family study program
- Verification of baptism record
Confirmation is celebrated in the 8th grade at St. Ann's. The requirements for being confirmed at St. Ann's are as follows:
- Previous enrollment in 7th grade Faith Formation classes with at least 75% attendance (or proof of enrollment/attendance if coming from another parish.)
- 75% attendance or better in 8th grade Faith Formation classes.
- Parents must attend the Confirmation Parent Meeting - Sept. 21, 2022 at 6:30 p.m
- Parents and students must attend the 4 Never Alone Sessions throughout the year.
- Participation in the Confirmation Retreat
- Paticipation in the Confirmation Service Project
- Verification of baptism record
