Children's Liturgy of the Word

During the Sunday Masses, children pre-K to 2nd grade are invited to be sent forth after the Opening Prayer to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. They will hear the Lectionary readings in language more appropriate to their age and respond to God's word according to their perspectives as children. This is an extension of the main liturgy in the church, and catechists guide the children in these moments until the children return to be with their parents and families during the offertory. If you have the spiritual gifts of teacher, wisdom, knowledge, or evangelist, this might be the right place for you to offer your gifts.
